Five residents share reflections from our relationships to China’s capital. Our perspectives have been formed by the paths taken every day to studios and offices, and the people we’ve met, fueled by the hearty food of northeast China. These images are a visual introduction to a city that has been destroyed and rebuilt many times over by its people. We are merely witnesses to its latest transformation.
